Oven Method of Cooking Rice
1 Cup Brown Rice
1-3/4 cup boiling water
1 Tbsp butter (optional)
1/2 tsp salt
Place rice, butter, and salt in a 1-1/2 quart baking dish.
Pour boiling water over rice.
Cover and bake at 325 degrees F until all liquid is absorbed,
about 50 minutes.
Remove from oven and let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
Fluff with fork. 3-1/2 cups or 4-6 servings.
