Our traditional family pizza (my own) during Sue Ann, Christy and Craig's highschool days. I usually made three different kinds: ground beef, pepperoni, and a vege.
Ingredients:
1 pkg (3 frozen loaves) bread (white or wheat)
2 (14 oz) jars of pizza sauce (7 oz per pizza)
3 large pcs of wax paper for rolling dough
1 large package of chopped mozzarello cheese
1 pkg of pepperoni
1/2 lb. browned lean ground beef or use "Baked Meatballs" recipe
7 mushrooms, 2 chopped green peppers (optional)
2-3 large cookie sheets with 1/2 inch deep edges
Directions:
  1. Early morning leave frozen bread on greased cookie sheet to defrost during the day. Grease tops with Crisco and cover with wax paper.
  2. After work, sprinkle counter generously with flour and use rolling pin to roll the dough to thickness desired. (Sprinkle more flour on dough if sticky.)
  3. Continue with rolling pin and stretch dough out until it fits large cookie sheet.
  4. Spread the following ingredients evenly on pizza dough leaving 1" edges.
    • Tomato sauce (first layer)
    • Mozzarello cheese (second layer)
    • Meatballs, pepperoni, veges (last layer) for each pizza (or all of the above on one).
  5. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese before and after meatball or pepperoni topping.
  6. Heat in oven at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until edges look brown.
