Ingredients: I was so happy when I discovered this baked meatball recipe in a magazine. I'd been frying them for years. This recipe is not messy at all and it's my favorite.
1/2 lb ground beef/ 1/2 lb ground pork (pork optional)
1/2 cup cubed french bread
(buy a loaf to serve with the meal as well)
1/2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp dried basil leaves
1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
1 garlic clove, minced
(buy a jar of minced cloves)
1 egg
1/4 cup minced onion
Shake salt, pepper, 1/2 tsp sugar
  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Bake until lightly browned and no longer pink in middle.
  3. large bowl, combine all meat ingredients; mix well.
  4. Shape into 24 meatballs.
  5. Please on ungreased baking pan (15x10x1).
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Then add to your favorite sauce.
